Cooperative Know-How
In 2003 the idea arose to connect many companies from one industry sector in a cooperative, in order to combine
infrastructure, contacts and know-how, based on the conviction that working together creates partnerships,
which can only benefit all involved.
As a cooperative we offer our clients professional services centred on e-business. Services which profit from the
experience of others, and which offer aspiring new companies a functioning network from the outset.
This concept is affirmed by its success: 18 companies currently employ 160 employees. In 2003 the cooperative
started out with just 7 firms and 16 employees.
The TowerConsult is responsible for the areas of administration and recruiting in the Towerbyte e-commerce
cooperative in the Intershop Tower in Jena.
This 'cooperative' model can also be successful in other industries and locations. In establishing, setting up
and administrating a cooperative we are happy to provide our expertise and wealth of experience.
